The Doors

The Soft Parade (1969): This is a record were The doors leave apart the psicodelia and the guitar and keyboard solos. The main type of music is jazz. This was decided by Ray Manzarek (keyboard) and John Densmore (drums), they were lovers of jazz. The album was not well received and some fans left it in oblivion. But for me it is one of the best LPs of The Doors.
In this record partipate a lot Robby Krieger participated a lot in both the lyrics and the voice. The guitarrist makes his debut as a singer in 'Runnin Blue', in which he also partipates with the banjo. However the most claimed song is 'Touch me'.
The album is recorded in 9 months, is the one that takes the longer to record. The Jim Morrison deterioration, includes his arrest in the concert of Miami and in his voice we can note this.

The Dark Side Of The Moon (1973): One of the best progressive rock albums in history. Pink Floyd recorded it at Abbey Road Studios, London, between June (1972) and January (1973). The Beatles also recorded magnificent albums here. All the songs were written by Roger Waters, the group's bass. This one was given the 'Roger the horse face', due to the elongated face he possessed. All songs are linked from beginning to end. From 'Speak to me' to 'Eclipse'. This is called a concept record. The album talks about society issues such as money and time. Roger also dedicates a song to Syd Barrett (Brain Damage). The cover art is masterful, but it unnerves me that most people wearing a T-shirt with the album cover on it probably don't even know the name of the group or even the album. They only wear it for aesthetics.

Electric Ladyland (1968): The latest record released by 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience'. Produced by Jimi Hendrix himself, since Charles Chandler resigned. The producer leaves because the American guitarist was too perfectionist, he reached 43 takes on one song. This LP collects a big variety of mucic genders. Jazz, psicodelic rock, blues rock and hardrock. All the songs had been wroten by Jimi Hendrix, except 'Little Miss Strange' (Noel Redding); Come On ( Let the Good Times Roll) (Earl King) and All Along the Watchower (Bob Dylan). This double album was piblished in the 68, next to the big ones LPs 'The White Album' (The Beatles) and 'Astral Weeks' (Van Morrison). And it leaves inedit guitar interpretations. The way that he he plays 'Come On (Let the Good Times Roll)' is icredible. Transform a blues song into a electric and amazing piece. Led Zeppelin

  Led Zeppelin IV (1971): For some considered the band's album, but for me it almost is. It is a very strong album since it begins with 'Black dog', a very powerful song with a dominant guitar and a thunderous voice and then comes 'The Battle of Evermore' and Stairway to Heaven', which are ballads with a lot of power and energy that they will make you get up and shout them into the air. Then the album declines a bit in my opinion with the last three songs, they are not bad but after that beginning they are left behind for me. Taking the example of 'The Battle of Evermore', although it seems to be a thoughtful and methodical song, it is a song that was born thanks to the guitarist's curiosity towards the bassist's mandolin.
