Led Zeppelin

 Led Zeppelin IV (1971): For some considered the band's album, but for me it almost is. It is a very strong album since it begins with 'Black dog', a very powerful song with a dominant guitar and a thunderous voice and then comes 'The Battle of Evermore' and Stairway to Heaven', which are ballads with a lot of power and energy that they will make you get up and shout them into the air.

Then the album declines a bit in my opinion with the last three songs, they are not bad but after that beginning they are left behind for me. Taking the example of 'The Battle of Evermore', although it seems to be a thoughtful and methodical song, it is a song that was born thanks to the guitarist's curiosity towards the bassist's mandolin. Jimmy Page, the guitarist, says that he had never picked up this instrument and that he began to play chords and investigate. He showed it to Robert Plant, the singer, who wrote the lyrics to leave this song for the history of music.

The Beatles also recorded magnificent albums here. All the songs were written by Roger Waters, the group's bass. This one was given the 'Roger the horse face', due to the elongated face he possessed. All songs are linked from beginning to end. From 'Speak to me' to 'Eclipse'. This is called a concept record. The album talks about society issues such as money and time. Roger also dedicates a song to Syd Barrett (Brain Damage). The cover art is masterful, but it unnerves me that most people wearing a T-shirt with the album cover on it probably don't even know the name of the group or even the album. They only wear it for aesthetics.

Electric Ladyland (1968): The latest record released by 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience'. Produced by Jimi Hendrix himself, since Charles Chandler resigned. The producer leaves because the American guitarist was too perfectionist, he reached 43 takes on one song. This LP collects a big variety of mucic genders. Jazz, psicodelic rock, blues rock and hardrock. All the songs had been wroten by Jimi Hendrix, except 'Little Miss Strange' (Noel Redding); Come On ( Let the Good Times Roll) (Earl King) and All Along the Watchower (Bob Dylan). This double album was piblished in the 68, next to the big ones LPs 'The White Album' (The Beatles) and 'Astral Weeks' (Van Morrison). And it leaves inedit guitar interpretations.
